How's this for a European Delivery itinerary?

I was already going to Europe to see a tennis tournament in London (not Wimbledon that's a lot of $$$ - the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club a few weeks before). I'm fitting the Mercedes in right from the start, going from LHR landing to Stuttgart and back 28 hours later. I have no interest in a museum tour (but will do factory - I'm into new/tech) and I will be jet lagged and no interest in driving around much at all. I was a foreign exchange student for a year in Germany. I know the country.

1. 6/21 – 6:30 PM: Arrive in STR, take cab to hotel (use voucher)
2. Nice dinner near hotel after check-in
3. 6/22 – AM: Sleep in, maybe take a run or stroll in DT Stutgart, have a late breakfast at hotel (included).
4. 6/22 – 11:30 AM: Take cab from hotel to Delivery Center (I pay)
5. 6/22 – 12:00 PM: Delivery
6. 6/22 – 1:30 PM: Factory Tour
7. 6/22 - 3:30 PM: After tour, free lunch at delivery center (appears open until 4:15 PM)
7. Then drive to drop-off point
8. Cab from drop-off point to STR Airport (use voucher)

I'm speechless...
You don't even take your car to autobahn? Just pick up and drop off?

I'm only getting a GLC300 4Matic -- nothing AMG or super fast / handling. And I want to follow the break-in instructions to the letter. And I spent a good chunk of money on the tennis tickets and don't want to miss a single point.

sounds like a solid itinerary

Just for comparison - here was ours

1pm - arrived at hotel in Stuttgart - we were so jet lagged, that we just slept in, instead of going to the museum

Next day:
8:30 - breakfast at hotel
9:15 - checked out from hotel and took taxi (using voucher) to delivery center
9:40 - check in at factory - while waiting for tour - complimentary breakfast
10:30 - factory tour (it was around 2 hrs)
12:30 - ate at restaurant (using voucher)
2 pm - picked up the car and started our journey around Germany

Thanks, I like your itinerary. I may try to get to the factory earlier but want to make sure I can sleep in and get a chance to take a run through DT Stuttgart. I get anxious if I don't work out and I also love taking a run through a new city to see it and get my daily exercise in. Our itineraries will end up probably being pretty similar that day, beyond the fact that I'm flying to London and you started driving. I was an exchange student in Germany and had a project in Belgium for a while, I've driven in Europe. I just want to get my car on it's way home to Wisconsin as quickly as it can.
