Brief intro to what I have done thus far:

Fab Design - Full body kit and 18' Rims
Lower Spring
Gear Knob (Have changed 4 thus far, latest is a Black Benz logo Shift)
Steering Wheel (F1 Steering Wheel just changed yesterday)
Spring Booster
Kleeman Pulley
Bi-Xenon Headlamp with 8000k lights (Have tried 12000k but too bright with purplish color)
Foglamp with HID 8000k
License Plate Light Change: Purple (Almost impossible locally to find with 12v,5w that is not yellow)
Interior Dash Wood trimming re-mod using Cubic Printing to strips black with white lining
Audio with 7' Alphine(DVD) Screen intergrated with Ipod
TV Mobile to watch Channel 5, 8 Channel News Asia
Carlsson Spoiler done but removed as didnt fancy the look.

Most of the jobs done are cosmetic as I am a real noob about the engine upgrades and stuff. Therefore find this thread very localise and useful.

Have visited a lot of garage and hope to share info with fellow MB enthusiast.

Future Upgrade of desire: Have seen the Mercedes Door panel lighting and it seems real tempting. Wonder if theres still available. Also the ECU upgrade, and wonder if theres any sport seats too.

Best regards to everyone

I played with this parameters in DAS sometime back too, but I am back to the factory setting when it left Sindelfingen Plant.

Due to the fact that the air/fuel ratio has been adapted to the stock headers and cats, otherwise this operation will not be required. The engine control unit needs to adapt to the new air/fuel parameters having the Kleemann heades and high flow cats kick in....

Next mod perhaps if you wish to consider is to replace the secondary cats with the metallic high flow...like I said, the secondary cat is a junk....

BTW - thought this info may be interesting to all out there - I installed a spin-booster, and although it did not "increase" the overall power per se, the engine "feels" much more responsive when the accelerator is depressed (20% more responsive than previous) but not quite like an M3 or a GTR! 2) AMG Brakes (355mm FRT 6-pots and 328mm RR 4-pots)
3) Kleemann header unit

My mileage is 900+ now... should I wait until the recommended 1500 run-in before attempting any mods? I have the full AMG kit and 225-40/245-35-R18 AMG Rims and Eagle F1.

Questions:

Does the Sprint Booster really help? Will it cause the car to uncontrollable surge forward at the slightest touch of the gas pedal?

Anyone has a dyno on the Kleemann kit (with or without the header units)? At what rpm does the 210bhp and 300Nm torque gets achieved?

With these two mods, a mod SLK200K would be more powerful than a stock SLK280 (228bhp and 300Nm) at significantly lower roadtax... something has to give right?... but what will it be?? Engine wear/tear? Noise level? Fuel consumption? Jerkiness?

I am not a technical person... but what does the 6-pots vs 4 pots vs 2 pots mean?

Hello

Hi guys, here's a little introduction of myself:

Name: Sharo
Ride:Mercedes CLK 200 W209 Yr2005
Mode so far : Brabus front and rear apron, eibach lowering spring, NKB Elite 8 19, Brabus door pin
Mode to come: Brabus exhaust, Brrabus pedals, Brabus Gear Knob, Brabus Emblem set, COMAND system, Brabus ECU and Pulley and hopefully sound system( thinking to upgrade just the speakers and perhaps an amp)

Lotz of plans but lack of cash. I'm down under in Melbourne and will be coming up to Singapore to visit my mistress. Huge fan of Brabus and great to know that gianfranc is a die hard fan as well. Luv your ride, luv your style and luv BRABUS

All the C-klas in Sg are awesome, wonder why i didnt c u guys rolling on the street when i was up there last time. There are a few MErc enthusiastic in Mel and i have to admit they've done up their rides nicely, a mate of mine has got full FAbulous including wheels on his C200, marvelous!! But i'm still more of a sporty person, Fabulous is just too Elegance to me. CBLack and Kippiting r just way i luv.

ANyway, i hav some questions to ask here. Just wanting to know where can i source Brabus parts in Sg, i know there is a Brabus Dealer in Kl but too bad i'm not travelling down that far. I'm thinking to get small items like the gear knob, illuminated door sill, pedals, emblem and if possible the exhaust as well from Sg if they are cheaper there. HAnd carrying them back...

BRabus AUs quotes:
Exhaust : AUSD1700
Pedals : AUSD 380
Knob : AUSD 470
Door sill : AUSD 1400
plus installation

Hav to work harder to pay the bill. If anyone can advise me some shops that carry BRabus in Sg, i`really appreciate.

Thanx and nice meeting you all. All the best to your ModS

Hi Sharo,

I've been to MBM Wheelpower in Singapore and seen many Brabus parts on display in their showroom.
You might want to contact Kelvin of MBM in Singapore for your Brabus parts.

Kelvin is the young enterprising boss of MBM.
I am just a happy customer of MBM.

Hi Sharo, great to hear that you are a Brabus fan also! Thanks for the compliment.

I get all my Brabus parts from Benzline. Ask for Eric and mention my name: Andrew.

Don't bother getting anything from Naza Brabus in Malaysia. All their parts are overpriced.

I'm sure that your car will look fantastic after you're done modding! I'm already drooling over your kit. I would love to have 4 fog lights!

I second that. MBM is great! The guys there know their stuff (unlike C&C who know nuts once the car is modified) and are patient and polite. Ah Yong is great as is Kelvin.
