NJ Meet, Sunday, April 17th - Edison - Roosevelt Park
Hoping to get some of the locals for our Annual NJ BBQ at the Roosevelt Park in Edison NJ. This may also be your only chance this year to meet famous Tommy in person and see the new car he is driving now.
It will be in Roosevelt Park, behind the Menlo Park Mall. I will post exact directions later. I'm bringing beer and hot dogs. And whatever we will need to fire up a BBQ. |
I'm down if more people join in. Literally few blocks away from it.
|
What time do you think this will be? I'd say I'd take the gullwing out, but it's the 9th and it's SNOWING today...geeze.

The meet is on. 11:00am Sunday April 17th Edison NJ Roosevelt Park.
Map of Roosevelt Park http://www.co.middlesex.nj.us/Govern...sevelt0915.pdf The area we met at last time is on Roosevelt Drive, across from Kiddie Keep Well Camp. It's the area called "Open Grove" just underneath the indicator for "Grove 1". We park in the trapezoidal lot that you can see southeast of the "Open Grove" wording. Directions to the park http://www.co.middlesex.nj.us/About/...irections.aspx I'll be bringing the E Wagon with some new Renntech carbon. |

Sorry, didn't see this until Erik's PM popped up today.
Can't make the 17th, unfortunately. We'll have to do a later one this summer/fall. Erik- "the wife"? Oh, that poor woman! :p: I'm now driving a 2004 Civic Si, as the smurfmobile was rusted through and I didn't want to pay for any more electronic gremlin fixes on a body that's falling apart more than mine is (big 50 next month :scared:). Enjoy the meet, guys. |
Just to confirm. The meet is on today at 11AM. I'll be making hotdogs and will be bringing a some Coronas.

Yes, twice the repair bills. :)
We'll have to do another in Aug/Sept., assuming Civics are allowed. :zoom: Just got some 17x8 WedsSport TC-105Ns installed yesterday; needed a little roll in the rear fenders. 14.9 lbs per - yummy! |
I missed it completely, but none of you bothered to PM me. Oh well. We are working out a meet at JohnP's house soon. No hotdogs..steaks.
|
Will there be a meet this year? I was unable to attend the past two years to due to scheduling issues.
|
I'm good for Sunday 4/15
|
It looks like it's going to be a bit chilly this Sunday. Maybe we try for something in May?
|
Let's see if there is any additional interest and we can decide then. But i agree, it's been a very cold spring and April 15th is not practical this year.
|
I live in MA and I would be done to show up if we did this in Mid May when it warms up. I could possibly bring a buddy with a nice R129
