Best Discount for MB Extended Warranty

MB will transfer the ELW to a private party buyer when you sell it, but have a clause in the contract that they wont transfer if the title goes through anyone but the new owner. Sounds like if you sell it to a dealer, the ELW is done, but they do have some provision for refund.

ML 350 4Matic
Here's another shout out to Jeff Jackson at Tafel Motors in Louisville, KY. He gave me an incredible, amazing deal on a 6/100 new car ELW for my 2015 ML350. No sales tax, no 15% surcharge.
In total I sent emails to five people listed in this thread. Jeff was the first one to respond to my emails (within 20 minutes) and actually was the only one to respond. Given the lack of email response from the others, I phoned each of them over the course of two days. As previously mentioned, it took many tries to reach most of them. One gave me a quote slightly higher than Jeff's but still competitive. One wouldn't quote me an exact price unless I "had my credit card in hand and was ready to buy" (I still wanted to get a couple more quotes first) and tried to up-sell me additional items that I wasn't interested in (maintenance plan, and yes, even a LoJack system). This person also did say he would have to charge the additional 15%. The third took my number and said would call back, but never did. Tried calling the fourth on the phone several times and never reached him.
Jeff emailed me the contract, spent less than five minutes on the phone, paid with credit card. Done deal. Wonderful experience. If you're in the market for an ELW, call or email Jeff Jackson. You will be pleased.

Lots of great information on this thread; glad I came across it. I'm shopping around for an ELW for my 2013 C63. Pricing seems quite expensive from what I have gotten so far. I guess the AMG's are just that much more expensive?
Best:
2yr/75k - $5253
3yr/75k - $6328
3yr/100k - $6758
Local Delearship:

The pricing of these policies are based on experience rating. AMGs are more expensive to maintain and to fix than a non AMG. But that is the price of driving a great machine.

Cancelling ELW
You absolutely can cancel ELW. If you are still under the factory 4-year/50K warranty and have not used any of the extended limited warranty portion, then the extended portion is 100% refundable. If the extended limited warranty is active, then you would get a prorated amount back, less any claims.

Another vote for Jeff Jackson at Tafel. Tried to contact Erin, who I understand is insanely busy, for months now and found this thread. After emailing Jeff on Wednesday, he got back to the next day because he was out of the office and answered all of my questions and got it done over the phone in minutes and saved me thousands over the local dealer. Would definitely call him again for a warranty.

Can you post of copy of the warranty contract? I am wondering if it is an inclusive warranty or an exclusive warranty.

Extended Warranty Best Place to Purchase is with Jeff
Jeff Jackson saved us $800 from what our local dealer wanted for the extended warranty. The process was easy and its the MBenz Extended Warranty. My advise to my local dealer...zero percent of nothing is nothing. Jeff is the guy you want to contact.

This guy is incredible. Might be using him twice now. Working with him on a 3rd party warranty. You can only do Mercedes CPO for so long, then when it's done, you can't keep extending it. BUT, after you make out Mercedes CPO you can extra with a 3rd party warranty company... I will report back more later...
