Good afternoon,

I bought a 2016 s65 coupe (33k miles) a few weeks ago. At first I thought I didn't hold the start button long enough but now I am realizing there is a stutter start when the car is warm. What I mean by this is sometimes I hear fuel pump and it starts right up. Sometimes i see a quick rpm jump, then nothing, then it starts a few seconds later. Almost like the starter kicked but the rest of the start cycle didnt go off. Only once has it done this twice before starting. Its not every time but it does only happen when the engine is warm.

Is this like vapor lock? A battery starting to go? Fuel pressure issue?

There are zero codes associated with this. (Topdon 800) only a right mirror short to ground for the heater.

Anyone have any insight?

Thanks in advance, car has been amazing otherwise.

My S63 Coupe had a very annoying, bit 'tinny' sounding rattle coming from the rear. Especially when driving over uneven roads.
I was finally able to find the source of the rattle.

It was the plastic frame that holds the cover behind the center armrest in the backseat.
Very easy to fix, by simply putting a few strips of joint sealing tape behind it. (see highlighted in red)
Could not be happier :)
