GLC 43 p0299 code

Running into this p0299 code when hitting full throttle on my GLC 43 that then throws the car into limp mode. Any ideas on what might be the problem would be greatly appreciated. I would rather not deal with a shops as some have suspected it needs a new turbo which I find hard to believe being under 50k miles and operating fine below full throttle.

GLC 43 2017 DIFF NOISE?

Hello guys i have this sound at around 140 kph (it disappears bellow and over this speed (can hear it just a bit at 60 kph) the car is GLC 43 2017 (when i lift of it disappears and i hear it from the front (possibly from the diff i guess))
It has 99k miles/159 k km. The front tires were just a bit soft (-0.2 - 0.3 under, no light on the dash)

What is your best MPG?

Maybe there is a thread already. One of the recent trips that included highway and side country roads I managed to baby my 2021 GLC43 and got 30.5mpg average over 91miles / 1:35h.

General Thoughts on Powertrain for 2024+ GLC43

I'm thinking of possibly trading in my 2023 GLC 43 for a 2025/2026 model. Is there a general consensus on how the two compare as it relates to power train? I do like the V6 quite a bit, but the car doesn't have distronic, which I really like. So, I'd either have to get a 2023 that has distronic or go for a newer model. I remember people on this forum talking about transmission jerkiness on the newer models. Is that still a thing, or have they been able to do software upgrades or some other workaround to make it less jerky? I think the 2024+ models have the same transmission as the 63 has always had, but i heard that it didn't translate very well to the smaller engine. Is the 4 cylinder + mild hybrid something that works well, or just not as good as the V6. I don't want to make a change that would be considered a downgrade from the V6. Thanks.

Ceramic Broake Pad Recommendation

I'm looking into ceramic brake pads (not carbon ceramic) to use with stock rotors for my 2021 AMG 63S. Does anyone have a recommendation on what brand to look at. And are there any caveats to using ceramic pads?

Tips for Reducing Battery Drain

Bought a new battery from Costco this past February. Installed it without issue and used my Foxwell 530 to reset the alternator. I'm the second owner of the vehicle and was not aware of the fact that the vehicle never really sleeps and is continually drawing current unless you lock the vehicle which is kind of crazy since I park it in my garage.

What are you guys doing to prevent electrical draw on the battery while it's parked?

Oil Extraction Issue?

I wanted to see if anybody else is having this issue with their M276 3.0 TT engine.
I use my oil extractor on both of my M278 engines in the SL 550 and CLS 550 with no issues.
Very quick extraction and a complete oil change is done in less than 30 minutes.
On my wife's 2019 GLC 43 AMG, this is not the case.
On each attempt to extract the oil, it stops at around 3 liters.
Same amount on each attempt. 3 in total so far.
I kept thinking it would work this next time, but that was never the case.
Up on the lift to finish the oil change.
Anybody else have this issue with the M276 3.0 TT engine?
