Finally getting around to figuring out a temporary ride until they release the new E63S, if they ever get around to it. I'm spending more time on the road than usual, and the G is not great. Its actually miserable on the freeway. I'm thinking of a 2 year car until the new E comes out, and these GT's look interesting. Or the CLE63, that looks great too, but they're really slow playing it. I just read that the GT 4door is discontinued indefinietly, so MBZ will only have the S and the C for four door sedans until they release the E? Who knows.

The question is, do I need a 24+ E Performance or can I just buy a 23 63S for $50K less? Besides the insane power boost, is there any other reason to go with the newer model? Seems like almost everything else is the same.

Anyone here have both? Which do you prefer?

It always seemed like an oversight, my wife's Jetta has the ability but we lacked it. Now, MB has introduced temperature control in the app REMOTE START > TEMPERATURE. I never read the "messages" section in the app, but today I did and it mentioned the feature. Now you can set the temperature of your car before remote starting it so the car is as cold or as hot inside as you want. About time.
