Issue with Android auto DPI/ resolution after update

Anyone else have issues after updating to the latest firmware on MBUX?

Android auto is completely stretched out beyond the limitations of the hypescreen

Looking to replace my wipers. Are there any third party that will work with EQS locking system? purchased some on eBay and Amazon with similar style but it will not lock then had to return it.
If OEM is the only way, any place to buy them besides dealership? they are super expensive at my local dealer

EQS w/16K miles Need New Battery

So I took the EQS in for its 20K mile service despite only with 16,xxx miles on the clock. First the SA tried to talk me out of scheduling the service claiming I need to wait until its 20K miles. Turns out my car came with a FREE 20K mile service which I must use no later than June 17, 2026. I insisted on the service and got scheduled. A day later, the vehicle was ready for pickup. But when I arrived, the SA told me they found a fault with the battery and they have to replace it. I was like, what? The vehicle only has 16K miles, with a Dec 2023 manufactured date and first registered on March 2024, just ~2 years ago. How can it already develop a bad battery?

Does anyone know if this is a unicorn issue for <20K miles EQS580 SUV needing replacement of battery? Although I am glad it is under warranty, but I am a tad p'oed... to have a low miler vehicle already needing a critical component replacement doesn't bode well for the future of this vehicle. Our very first EV but may be last... I guess we shall see.

iOS 26.4.2 CarPlay Issues

Have never had an issue with CarPlay until the 26.4.2 update. Once you leave the CarPlay app and go to another screen, you can�t get back into CarPlay.
Anyone else having this issue?

Break Services similar to GLS?

Are EQS brakes much different than GLS? brake squeaks a lot and I know I'll probably need new pads soon.
Talking to few independent shops that works on Mercedes but they haven't done any EQS 450 SUV.

Generally, for anyone who has done their own brakes, is GLS system similar to our EQS? I know the part number could be different but if we get the right parts, do you think a tech thats family with GLS should be able to do it on EQS?

Just wondering, hope to get some answers.

48K miles - A2 service?

Purchased 2023 CPO EQS 450 SUV last summer and put almost 10,000 miles in 1 year. At the time of purchase, all service has been done and completed (except for brake pads / rotors)
now car is suggesting A2 service soon... after reading, looks like it's just replacing wipers, wiper fluid and keyfob battery. Is it really necessary? Does A2 seen right at 48K?
