2026 GLC300 Base Audio Tweeter Addition.

I was so disappointed that the base audio from this 60k car doesn't have tweeters. I really wanted a Burmester system but I had to make a difficult choice. It was either AMG package or exclusive package which included Burmester. They didn't have any with both :( well not at my price point. Does any know if a simple tweeter can be added because I already see a grill area on the upper door corner.

Glc Coupe 250d engine sound

Aș vrea să vă cer părerea despre *** se aude motorul de la Glc Coupe 250d. Primul videoclip este filmat la prima pornire (se aude un zgomot ciudat). Al doilea videoclip este filmat după 2 minute (zgomotul nu se mai aude). Distribuția a fost schimbată acum 10.000 km. Vă mulțumesc foarte mult pentru orice părere!

Hello all, about to get the front windows of the GLC tinted, I've been very happy with 3M's Crystalline Line installed on my previous cars, the installer is asking about adding felt @ $50 a window. I've had several cars done in the past and this is a new one on me. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

GLC's To Be Built in Tuscaloosa, AL

I saw a YouTube video by Mercedes-Benz introducing the 2027 GLE, GLS and the GLC vehicle lineup in Tuscaloosa, AL. It was mentioned that the GLC will be produced in Tuscalossa for the 2027 year model. Previously, the GLC class was produced in Germany, and a few other countries. I believe that this decision was based on Import Tariffs into the U.S.

Playlist Question

On my 2025 GLC, I put the .m3u8 playlist files on my USB in the same folder as the song files. That worked great for a while. Now the playlists don't show up anymore. Any ideas?

Digital Vehicle Key

Greetings,
I seem to be having an issue setting up the digital vehicle key on my new 2026 GLC300W4. I did activate the free trail period for all the digital extras in the Mercedes app.
.
I keep getting this message on my Samsung S24-FE phone with the Mercedes app installed:

"Status unknown
We are temporarily unable to determine whether a Digital Vehicle Key is linked to your Wallet app"

I do have Samsung Wallet app installed on my phone.
Does anyone out there have a similar issue?

New MB Recall for Blank Center Screen

The center screen on my 25 GLC 350e went dark again (third time it�s happened) a couple weeks ago. The dealer reloaded the software, but it went dark again before they could return it to me. They said they were ordering a new computer for it and sent me home with the car. Then a week later it started working again all on its own. The next day I received an OTA update for the center display to improve �robustness�. It installed OK.

I read today of a new recall for the GLC as well as many other MB models due to software issues with MBUX.

You can see if your VIN is included at nhtsa.gov. My VIN is a part of the recall. The fix is to install new software. I�m hoping this will end this problem.

Engine Coolant for GLC 300

I have a 2023 GLC 300 4Matic SUV.
I read on the website of a distant Mercedes dealership's Service Dept that they recommend changing the engine coolant every 2 years or 30,000 miles.
My local Mercedes service advisor said that's not necessary, that's too frequent. He recommended no sooner than every 5 years or 50,000 miles at the earliest.
Just wondered what other GLC 300 owners think is appropriate.

MB Dealers aggressively pricing in stock 2026s GLCs 300s

We are picking up a 2026 GLC 300 4Matic as a replacement for our 2023 GLC 300 4Matic this morning. We were not in the market for a replacement but received a solicitation via snail mail from our local dealer that was offering a 9% discount off MSRP and matching Kelley Blue Book Good-Very Good Trade Values. I thought it was too good to be true but broke down and contacted the dealer to see if it was true or just a teaser. Turns out it is all true! We were able to purchase a $61k MSRP here in North Carolina for 9% off and $39.5k for my 2023 with very low miles (16k).

We are looking forward to the slightly improved MBUX features, new tires, full driver assistance and getting away from all the first-year release issues we have had with the operating software. We have had the 2023 GLC300, Mar 2023 build in for software updates 9+ times. Various issues with not being able to start vehicle, battery drain, check engine lights, NFC Phone Charger in operative, fuse box replaced, etc. Just a litany of issues that I haven't had on my 2025 C300W4.

So, fingers crossed, we are hoping that the 2026 has these issues resolved!

GLC Audio/Burmester Sound Profile resetting

Hi. I have a 2026 and I have a 3D sound profile set up. In the section where it has the 4 quadrants and you slide it around to your preference, that part often resets to baseline/middle. Sometimes it goes days and works great at each start up, then other times it forgets my setting/resets 2x a day. Anyone else have that issue?

I'm talking about where you go through the questionnaire and set the sounds the way you like and at the last part you can fine-tune it using the quadrant area. That resets to factory settings. Thanks. My SW appears up to date and I did a OTA update just last week for something else (whatever it needed, it was screen-related I think).

2025 Mercedes GLC300 - Changing cabin and dust filters

I have a 2025 GLC300 coupe. I'm going to change both the cabin and dust filters. From what I can tell, the correct Mercedes part numbers are:

Primary Cabin Filter (Interior): Part Number 254-830-15-02. This is the main activated carbon filter located inside the cabin, behind the glovebox.
Dust Filter (Exterior): Part Number 254-830-14-02. This is the pre-filter located under the hood at the fresh air intake.

Anyone done this themselves? I'm sure I can handle the replacement. My questions:

1) Are these the correct MB part numbers?
2) Are there any acceptable aftermarket alternatives? Perhaps MANN-FILTER? From what I can tell - the answer is no.

check engine light

I have a 2025 GLC300 just over a year old, Recently my check engine light came on after going through a car wash. There was also a brief message about servicing the 48v system. The text message disappeared almost immediately. The check engine light stayed on for 2 days, then went off. Any idea what could cause this behavior and if I should be concerned, Thanks

Premium Gas; Minimum Octane?

Have a 2026 AMG GLC43 Coupe and have heard different recommendations for which Octane to use. MB says minimum of 91 while I've heard from others 89 would do. What experiences have you had using 87, 89, 91+...and what's the best route to keep running smoothly.

GLC300 all front lights not working

Hello,
I have a 2025 GLC 300, yesterday I got 7 warnings saying check front low beam (left and right), check headlights, tire pressure monitor and turn signals, none of them turning on. I didn't hit anything, it was driving fine an hour earlier, it happens all of sudden. I checked the fuse box and they were fine. Everything seems to be working again randomly after. Has anyone ran into that issue before?

Is there an oil extraction point at the top of the M254 engine?

I am looking to use my oil extraction pump on this vehicle, but Google searches are inconclusive.

I can see the posts about the plastic oil drain plug below, but what about removing the oil from the top of the engine? Thanks.
