Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I have a 2016 SLC 250D, which is due an A service - I have just booked this in at Mercedes in Stourbridge, UK. I have had the automated response from the garage to say it is booked in....

The same day as the response I also receive another eMail from a senior customer adviser telling me there are 2 outstanding recalls on the vehicle and they will now need it all day (I presume to action these recalls). This worries me a little - would a recall (2!) be introduced on a cal now 10 years old. The vehicle has a pretty solid Mercedes service history (some of these being at the garage where I am taking it for this service) and this has never come up before. In addition I entered my VIN on the Mercedes recall portal which came back clean (no recalls)..... I've never had what I would call a simple in-out service with Mercedes - there's always been an issue afterwards (sometimes mechanical, sometimes service-related, sometime financial) so I'm a bit dubious with them messing around with it, yet again!

Government website shows no recalls and I entered my VIN on Mercedes' own recall checking site and it came back clean on that as well...... this worries me slightly. Can I ask if anyone else is aware of this, or what the recalls may be

'82 380SL came with aftermarket radio. I am trying to install Becker 754, and because of the newer radio install, all the original Becker plugs have been replaced with new plugs. I have searched high and low for compatible plugs, to no avail. Any ideas??
