How did i do?

My only constraint was that I didn’t want a black or red interior, and I’m a huge fan of Macchiato Beige. That combination made the search incredibly tough. Out of the 900+ cars listed on MB’s inventory site, about 95% were Edition One, and the rest were located far out of state. In the end, I had two solid options: green exterior with a brown interior, or China Blue with Platinum White. The wife liked the China Blue — so we went with that!
I ended up getting the car for nearly $25K under sticker, which was originally $186K. I chose to lease it for 2 years, mainly because I’m unsure where the market is headed, and 2 years gives me flexibility if I want to exit early.
Tariff pressure was also creeping in, so I had to make a fast move — and so far, I’m loving it. I considered the G63, but realistically, you’re not getting out the door for less than $250–260K, and I just couldn’t justify an $80K premium over this one. The electric range is solid, ride quality is great — the only downside is the weight. It’s heavy, and you can feel it. I do wish it came with rear axle steering and adjustable air suspension, but other than that? Chef’s kiss. 👨🍳👌
This replaces my 2024 GLE53 Coupe AMG. My current garage includes a 2024 911 4S, a 2024 EQE 350 4MATIC (my all-time favorite — but don’t tell anyone 😅
, and now this.Excited to put some serious seat time in! Let me know if you’ve got any questions. 🙌
