What is a sweet spot for pre-owned G-wagon? (model year, price range, etc)
Hello
I'm looking to buy a pre-owned G-wagon and was wondering where the sweet spot was for a good deal.
It seems like they're pretty rare so the prices seem all over the place where I looked (autotrader, ebay, etc).
Which model years are likely to give less headache without overpaying for it?
What is a good amount of money to spend on a used G? 40? 50? 60?

2010 G55, 2010 C250, Volvo S40 T5, Pajero, Passat, 1995 SL500
2010 G55 is around 50% of new 2013 price (after good negotiations) and they mostly have only early to mid 30s km on them (19-20k miles) which is a very good deal. If budget allows go for 2011 as it has the issue of the rear headrests corrected (not worth it though).

Ah thank you for the tip.
I was looking at a 2010 G500 yesterday at Merc dealership (certified) with about 30k miles and they were selling it for 80K sticker.
Crazy!!
I was thinking 60K max for a G55.
