It states on Mercedes and other website "under what's new for the year 13" that the tail lights are LED? Can anyone explain what's LED about them cause I think on my 13' G63 the tails just have 3 regular lightbulbs. Thanx in advance.

On my '13 GL, the rear turn signals are LED (and maybe the parking lamps or backup lamps are too but I'm not sure about those as I haven't checked). I do know that in mine, the brake lamps are only conventional bulbs (which really, really annoyed me as the '12 had them and I think that's a necessary safety feature).

As for MB's statement, it's a bit of a "stretch" to call them LED.
