It's common that MBUSA always is conservative with their #'s. I'm sure they do this in order not to disappoint.
In every road test I have read (Motor Trend. C&D, Road & Track, etc), 0-60 and 1/4mile #'s and times are always faster across the board.
A friend and I just ran some tests on a 2002 C32 tonight via a G-Tech Pro. The G-tech was reporting 0-60 times between 4.5 and 4.6 seconds. MBUSA quotes 4.9 ... 1/4 mile times were 13.39 @110.95 (We feel that the G-Tech is about 2-3 mph on the 1/4 mph...
By the way, the C32 (And the SLK32) are fast as hell. The funny thing is that they don't feel that fast. The acceleration is so smooth that it is deceiving.

that's too fast. 0-60 is more like 10 seconds. Mercedes-Benz gives 10.2 seconds for 0-100 km/h, which is 62.5 MPH.

MBUSA site states:
Performance
Acceleration 0-60 mph in "TBD" seconds (to be determined - by whom? Why does it take so long?? Well, it can tow 3 1/2 tons.
