The main thing is that the 2017 has a newer, much improved, version of the navigation system. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure it's minor things like new/different color choices and a few new interior options.

Correct, everything Mechanical is the same.
  • Upgraded Navigation/Computer System in including Screen Size/Rear-View Camera/Apple CarPlay
  • More Exterior Color Choices/Packages
  • More Interior Options

Subtle, but the 2017 have a small flat antenna at the rear of the roof line and leave a clean front roof. The 2016s (and previous years) have a small 3" antenna protruding from the front center of the roof line. Personally, I really like this change and was always annoyed by the little antenna. Not nearly as much as the GMC yukon randomely offcenter sharkfin roofline antenna
