W463 G500 Workshop manual/Steering Shock Torque

Hello all,

I am looking for a W463 2002+ workshop manual PDF. Please let me know if you have one.

Also does anyone know the torque values of the 2 steering damper bolts? Changing out the OG Stabilus steering damper due to a vibration at 55-65mph. Hope it fixes it! Part# 463 463 00 32

Best,
J

For steering vibration, I'd try to do the road force balancing first before replacing the steering damper. I've had the same exact vibration at 55 to 65 MPH, and the road force balancing, for $80, fixed it.
It didn't fix the vibration initially and was told that all four wheels were still off by less than 1 ounce when I went back to re-check.
I don't know how it's that sensitive, but that made the the differences in the world.

Thanks! I decided to just replace it anyways since it was the original one. Put in the oem stabilus one and no more of that weird steering wheel vibration. Hope that was it.
