How much are people paying for a new G63?
Just wondering what type of pricing people are getting for brand new 18 G63? What type of pricing should we expect for leftover 17s at this point with the 19 on the horizon?
Thanks

The prices have firmed up on G Wagons pretty much across model ranges. The announcement of the revamped MY 19 has not put the downward pressure on prices of existing units. As an example, my dealer has three used and three new units in stock and is asking pretty strong money for them. The demand for this limited production G remains strong in spite of the imminent production and delivery of the revamped model. Historically, standard pricing on new models, at least here in the Northeast, usually reflected a seven percent discount from MSRP, especially if you were a known customer. That discount could be obtained with little negotiation. I'm not sure what current pricing is being offered but I can tell you that wholesale values are the highest I have seen in some time. I lease my MY16 G and have determined that the wholesale price for my unit exceeds the payoff on my lease. I've never experienced this with any other vehicle I have owned/leased. I think the market is strong for the current models and the dealers have recognized this and are pricing G's accordingly.

I dropped by the dealer this week and my sales rep showed me a G63 he special ordered for a customer who wanted one of the last of the current models. The MSRP was ~ $154,000. Lots of special leather trim, carbon fiber, etc. When I asked if it was discounted he said no. It may vary across the product line but the MSRP for MB usually has a 12% mark up imbedded. So yes, 7% off is a good deal for seller and buyer. As an aside they also had a 4X4 sold unit. MSRP ~ $224,000!!!! This is the first one I've seen in person. It is truly intimidating in its appearance. Not sure I would be comfortable pushing that beast around in the congested Northeast. I was also surprised that the dealership had six G's in inventory. Three new and three used. I'm sure there is a push by the manufacturer to get the current production cleaned out before they convert to building the updated mode. Good luck with your search.

You are including Dealer Hold Back, which varies by dealer as it includes bonuses from the factory based off Customer Service Service, Sales Targets, etc...Not all dealers have the entire hold back, and 99% will not sell a New G at 12% off.
