The 2019 G550 EPA numbers are...
13 City / 17 Highway & 14 Combined The Greenhouse Gas Rating is 1 out of 10 and Smog Rating is 3 out of 10. At least my G is Emerald Green, so I could still claim that it’s a “green vehicle.” :rolf: |

It is rated 15/20 and can do 22 on the highway... |
Translation of EPA figures: 10 MPG, on a good day!:zoom:

Is this an improvement over 2018 G550?
Has the AMG G63 typically rated with a worse EPA mpg vs/ G550? |

Has the AMG G63 typically rated with a worse EPA mpg vs/ G550? ’18 G63 (5.5L) 12/15 The ‘19’s will both have similar 4.0L engines, so the G63 will likely be the same or slightly worse. I don’t think the EPA testing includes max acceleration runs, so the same is a likely outcome. In real life the 63 will probably be worse if one actually drives it like an AMG. |

I just took my new 2018 G63 on a 160 mile trip all highway. Averaged 15.4 MPG, used cruise control for about half the drive, not bad. I suspect the 2019 AMG will fare about the same give or take.
