Got a message today that the cars are being shipped out to to the dealers. Waiting on a call back on whether or not this means they've been released from VPC or if they're just making room.
My guy at the dealer has always been very hush about everything and never lead me on so hearing from him makes me think that this is very good news.

However, still in vpc since August
there has been a sudden increase from mbusa in social media about G63. I contacted mbusa in Instagram and they suggested calling customers service. I did and asked for escalation of my inquiry, someone should call me back within 24 hrs. I think that the company needs to hear our frustration so I encourage everyone to fo the same.
When you pay for 150+ car, customer service should be better.
My dealer called me Friday evening with "Good News" they said that my allocation had been picked up for an April 3 production and May 15 delivery. I went in yesterday to review the order and discovered I was getting the 20" wheel not the 22" which was on my original order. They tried to slip it by me I think although they claimed they didn't catch it. So the good news turns out to be Bad News. Now I have to wait another 30 days to find out if the 22" wheels are off constraint. I told them if my delivery goes past July 15 I will cancel the order and change to a 2020. Not real happy about this.
Is anyone here going to get the wheel & tire protection insurance? I don’t know if this is only a Canadian thing, i usually get them with cars (low profile tires).

I had them multiple times but dealers always found a way not pay for tires when needed. It depends on 3rd party most of the time not MB

I was invited to an early press release for the car show here in Canada, they put a nicely spec’d G63 with a carbon steering wheel. I’m told they should arrive feb beginning to mid. Again I don’t believe it until I have the official word, but here’s some pics of the US spec

I wouldn't imagine it would be much, but by looking at the 2019 Dealer ordering guide, the 800 leather interiors are missing 802, 803, and 806-I wonder if these will be different colors on the 2020. I really love the nut or saddle browns and would consider waiting if offered on the 2020.

I’d assume more colour options since most magno paints weren’t available for 2019, and somewhat exclusive for the edition 1 model. Doubt there will be any changes at all to be honest.

that’s so weird I called corporate with my vin in canada and they gave me a 2-3 week estimate. That’s not even the dealer talking and now you’re being told no date. It’s so bizarre. No timeline given?

The US is the biggest G market yet the last to get them.
They've been seen throughout the rest of the world since last April yet the US waits - maybe it's time we start reconsidering
Everyone waiting for their car and bothered by what is happening should at least call corporate. The more people call the more pressure they’ll have and either more info will spill or they’ll finally release them. A lot of people are dropping their allocations and buying uruses nowadays. I can’t believe some people here were promised a car and have to deal with tax exemptions because of poor communication by their dealerships. Reading more posts about wheels being in constraint just has me puzzled into how they can’t get their ish together

What? The 800 series interior is not listed on the 2020 DOG? Can someone verify that? That makes zero sense.
