Bump!

Have a great week :)

What years are these for again?

And do you have a side by side picture (older vs. upgrade) so everyone can see the difference?

That would be very helpful.

I believe these will work for all MBUSA W463 (2002+) - but I can't confirm technically because that's way out of my wheelhouse. :)

Boy, if you're hoping to get $2500 out of these, then you should really know what years and Gwagon types that they work on. That's a lot of money for someone to take a risk on.

What are the exact product codes for everything you are asking to sell? Thanks.

Ageed on the part number omission. Additional info for the group:
  • Headlights: #463-820-07-59
  • Headlight plug socket: #014-545-62-26
  • Harness: #000-540-27-05
  • Brackets: only one versions were made by MB and cannot find the PN (but these are the correct brackets)

That said, I've never made a sizable purchase without my own due diligence, and I've never sold anything significant without the buyer doing the same. As a seller, my interests can be taken "with a grain of salt" from prospective buyers who may want to validate their purchase independently. I encourage any potential buyer to do the research and buy with confidence. I will present the items and the information I have, to the best of my knowledge; however I feel that the onus is on the buyer to make sure this is the right package for their needs, as their intentions may vary.

Now back to my regularly scheduled ad. :)

I've responded to PMs with requested info, however these are still available.

Thanks,
Joe

I would discount them hard if you want to move them right away. Electronics are a scary purchase second hand. Good luck

No - They were an impromptu purchase that I intended to install, however my 911 is getting the attention these days so these headlights have been sitting in my basement. I’ve also begun embracing the period-correctness of my ‘02 G.

I’m defenseless against OEM mods, so when I saw these I figured I’d buy and decided what to do after.

OK, so I inquired about this on the other forum and learned about the many, many who will help you retrofit your car/truck. Mine is a 2004 with halogen bulbs - but - they're also a projector (with lenses) meaning there is no high or low beam. Instead, just as with HID-projectors on offer for $1200 by the OP, there's a gate that drops down to cut-off and shape the beam for low-beam (to preclude blinding opposing drivers). Turns out a $160 kit where the H4 halogen bulb comes out and is replaced by HID bulb, plus a ballast and an igniter (one set for each side) for each side, which also included the harness so the CANBUS wouldn't squawk about the difference in the resistance within the circuit - looks and functions 'exactly' the same as my wife's W211 - which came with HID-projectors. Here's a link to the exact package other than I subsequently changed my mind and got the 4300° color temperature because it's what the stock set up uses.

Fabulous research, jbeech. So the code is cracked for those wondering about seamless integration with the brain. Thanks!
