So my car is on the way from New Jersey. Does anyone know if this bracket can be removed? We don’t require these in NC. Thank you in advance.

I'm sure it can be removed but it may leave holes. Too bad the dealer mounted it. I always specify to leave the front plate holder in the trunk. I then configure ways to temporarily mount it with no drilling just to pass state inspection. Nice ride. Happy motoring.

May not leave holes. The proper front license plate holder does not require any bumper drilling. There are attachment points in the grill. Mine was drilled but that was confirmed later that it was done so in error (and the dealership paid to have it repaired).
