They give you a lift, 70mm up front and 50mm in the rear, so some of the longer springs you can get and a softer ride. Viking did it that way so they "level" out your G. However, ride softness also depends a lot on your shocks and shock settings, so you may want to look into pairing some new shocks to them as well. The Viking rear springs are progressive, front are not. Not designated "offroad" either, I've had mine for 2 years and have barely gone offroad, just enjoying the less jarring ride over road bumps.
