MY23 C63 S Final Edition
G63 MY2019+ CCB kit
Met a nice guy today at Silverstone who is developing a CCB kit for the current G63. Will use Surface Transform CCB discs which get a great press, 440mm fronts with 8 piston callipers and bespoke fixing kit. I'm in as soon as its available, he's fitting it to their new inbound G in January.

Not interested in aftermarket CCB but very surprised it wasn't an option if only for the brake dust. Increased breaking a bonus :p

Not really.....because the G is billed as off roadable(hahahaha)... And there's no way you'd put CCB's on a potential offroader.

Not as standard for sure, but should have been an option for those of us who won't be climbing rocks. Let the customer choose.

Anyway. FWIW, surface transform discs are superior to the OEM ones I have on my E63 wagon, stop better and can be re-finished multiple times if you drive them hard.

Likely the G is just too heavy. It'd probably murder the **** out of CCB's.

They seem to hold up well enough on the Cayenne turbo S eHybrid which as a similar weight. And the Urus.

The tiny rear discs and 1 piston callipers on the G are a shocker. Mine is tuned by Brabus to 800PS and the brakes are a huge weak point.
