Very cool. How’s the ride? Id like to do the same
LeTech (European Gwagon off-road outfitter) is running 285/55/20 KO2s (32.3 inches) on their 1.5 inch lift.

I’ll take that same $400 gamble.
if you’re going off-road you actually want the smallest wheel that fits so you can get the most tire sidewall possible (allows to air down the tire for more traction and resistance to tire puncture).
Check out jackwagon on this forum. They have some killer 18 inch Hutchinson (the company that makes the OEM wheels for the G550 6x6) beadlock wheels that came out recently. I’d like a pair of those.
Plenty of pricy options from HRE and the sort, but for the price, look and functionality of beadlocks, I’d look for the Hutchinson 2059 Rock Monsters in 18.
I love off-roading (everything from mudding on ranches, to Hidden Falls here in Texas to driving up and down Texas beaches) and would love to eventually take my G to Moab. (I drove the trails of Moab last summer in my personal vehicle; teetering on 3 wheels facing downward at 30 degrees on slick rock will get your adrenaline going).
Here are some wheel options that I like that should fit the new G wagons.
Vossen HF-2 Satin Black red centers
Vossen HF-5 Textured Black
Formula Defender
Black Rhino Trabuco
XD842
I have an email into jack wagon to see if these 18 inch beadlocks will fit over our front brake calipers.

Here are all the tire options that I am debating in my head on. Would love some input on this forum if others have run these size tires. Seems like the LT285/55R20 are a safe bet.
Cooper discover AT3 XLT

32.36x11.7
LT305/55R20 S 112 MPH
33.35x12.2
Falken Wildpeak AT3W
LT285/55R20 T 118 MPH

Goodyear Duratrac

These tires are brand new from Toyo and have a lot of sizes that might work for us with new G wagons.

32.4x11.7
295/55R20 T 118

In this case I'm going from the stock Pirelli P Zero All Season 275/50R20 to the new Pirelli Scorpian A/T Plus 275/55R20 (only 1" difference).
The tire shop said I should check with the dealer about possibly voiding the warranty if I make the change.

I’m removing the cover and turning the new spare around with a flip-mount.

Only issue I could see is rubbing, as it is about 1.2 wider than the 275/50 stock tires. And 32 tall, which is about an inch more and max from all accounts I have read here. Seems like they should fit without a spacer.
Thinking General Grabber ATX in this size, looking for something with snow rating for mountain runs and occasional trail, but mostly a road tire.
Would love to know thoughts or see pix if anyone has done this.
For comparison here 305/50 is relative comparison to 285/50 that many run here...
