ive heard that there are many, many orders for cars being cancelled so your build could also get moved forward, or you could end up taking somebody else’s cancelled build that matches your spec.
Perhaps the dealership could provide you with more information. :-(. Sorry to be the bearer of this news.

I am the same way and now that I finally decided I wanted to go with the "507 Classic/Red" for the interior on my coming G63, sales manager says its too late! Mine is suppose to go into production 3rd decade in April! I figured there was still time left to change.

It really shouldn't be too late. That's over 5 weeks out with a minimum 2 week shutdown so I'd think you could make changes prior to a build over 7 weeks away.
I know some dealers like to lock things up at the 8 week mark but I've heard they can actually make changes up to a month before the build.

Usually roughly 6-8 weeks depending on where you are. I'm in Eastern Canada so my 3rd decade of March build was supposed
to be here around first week of May. I would say you'll get yours late May/early June...but that's very dependent on everything
going on right now.
I'm still waiting to hear from my dealer as they have a call in to determine whether my build got pushed up (maybe already built)
or will be affected by the shut-down. If mine was moved up a week, I may be in luck. Fingers crossed.

Ya, I'm sure it will be on the lengthier side of delivery times. Black is definitely classic. I went white, will probably regret
that decision but couldn't help myself, I love it

We are all the same, backwards and forwards with this colour exterior and interior. X-). I’ve been told no changes to mine for end of May delivery as I was debating red inside / black inside too!
EDIT:
I DID get a build date though as I phoned somebody else and managed to fool them into thinking I knew :-)
—— I’ve been told previously that in the UK G class don’t get a build date! ————
13th April 2020 👍🏼

The choices available for the G are great but almost overwhelming which is why we are all in the same boat
having so much difficulty deciding on them. I've second guessed both interior and exterior so many times but
I'm locked now. As someone said though, the G is amazing in any color combination so I'll be happy with my selections.

100%; any colour ; as long as it’s a G!

I asked my dealer about changing delivery dates and mine as not changed yet - still planned for May 30th but he is keeping an eye on it and will let me know if it does change.

So I just got this email which confuses me even more. My dealer (Jeff) got this last night from Austria.” Hi Jeff,
There have not been any communication from Germany or our Head Office in regard to production delayed. If there is any, it will comes from upper management to all the dealers network. As for local transportation, there is no delays that we have been made aware of.
This car is a late March production with ETA around late April.
Best Regard,”
I'm confused about this answer. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
