[AVAILABLE] 2020 MB G63 AMG @ $2K OVER MSRP
#26
I now have a Red/Black, 2020 G63 AMG, New, Never Titled, with Delivery Miles at $10,000 over MSRP. This one is difficult to get near MSRP per my chat with the Sales Person (Different Dealer). I can convince them if your ready to take a few pounds off. PO# and VIN# removed out of respect to future owner and current dealership. If you need to have it, I can share. .
Edit: sorry for the language just had a few glasses of whiskey. But you get the point.

I feel you...I try to not post much at this time on a Saturday evening. Based on the current environment I cannot see paying over sticker for any G. I wish mine was coming in soon since if so I would be sharpening my pencil so to say!

i will say this is a much nicer spec... the ones i have seen closer to msrp have less options and less desirable colors. i would have tried 5k over but whats the difference at this price range. i have a 550 coming at mrsp which is 165k. they wont sell at a discount but maybe things will change when it arrives end of august. who knows.

I agree, and several colors should not be $6500! I told my wife to pick the color she liked best, which happened to be Desert Silver, but I have no clue why that is not one of the standard colors. I would love to be a fly on the wall in the meeting where colors/prices were discussed to get an idea of the rationale!

What's strange is that in Germany and abroad, the paint color options vary considerably. For example, in the US, Magno Matte Black is cheaper than the "Manufaktur" options, but in European configurators, it costs the same if not more than $6K.

My understanding is, they don't want a teenager from Internet to troll them just to realize after days of negotiating he had no intentions of purchase or funds to clear the transaction.

That comes with the territory of being a dealer. Their job is to answer to every inquiry. You’re not asked for proof of funds to inquire about purchasing a Bugatti or a $25 million home.

Oh yes you are! At least the home - they do not just let anyone take a walk around one that is for sale, at least not here in Florida!

Touring and inquiring are different (though I have looked at homes even more expensive and have never been asked). You’d be asked for pof if you were a submitting an all cash offer but most people buy cars with loans or lease. A credit application would be sufficient to weed out bored teenagers. Demanding proof of funds to inquire about a car, especially a Mercedes, is quite silly.

stealerships are greedy. let them suffer. I get weekly calls from Land Rover about my lease end return for the Autobiography I had. They were charging stupid markup back in 2014 ... waiting to see the market for Porsche and their GT cars this upcoming 992MY... going to be interesting.

From now on, if you pay above MSRP you are crazy or you don’t live in this planet.
I predict in 2-3 months we will have a flooded market of G’s on the used market that will automatically drop the new sales.
Interestingly, the “spring MB financial incentives” (0% APR and deferred payments) for every Mercedes and obviously does not apply to the G’s.
If you want a loan get ready to pay 3-4% at least.
In addition, all the costumers that bought G’s over the last 2 years and their incomes and business are getting affected like 90% of the population, will start bringing backs their cars to the used market taking a big loss.
2 months ago it was impossible to find G’s new and used at MSRP on Autotrader, Cars, etc. Today there are at least 5-10 available.
Finally, in July and August the economical consequences of the current situation will be real and the market will become interesting.
Good luck.
Hold your horses if you are in the market. The best is coming !!
Who is in a big need to buy a luxury item like the G’s.
Those are luxury items that we buy as a toys. The G owners don’t buy them to commute !!

Not sure about that last line on this, from what I can see on this forum, there are many people who use Gs as
their daily driver. Alot more of a practical vehicle that my C63 ever was. Not sure if that's what you meant or
not but the G will be the my family vehicle as well as what I use to get to and from work every day.

Yes, used ones will certainly cease to command prices in excess of new ones, but my sense is that G buyers have sufficient financial reserves that they're not panic selling their cars in the next quarter or two.

Our dealer owns this vehicle. Not sure who this is but nobody gave permission for this vehicle to be posted anywhere. The information in this post is not correct.

It is for sale.
In regards to the price - we have currently put a new set of HREs on it that we think look great (pictured below). We are asking more with the wheels since the HREs cost over 12k but we are open to hearing offers with or without them.
