Recommended insurance company?
Argh - I just checked with Progressive (who we've been with for years) and they'll only cover a G63 up to $150k. Anyone recommend a non-gouging (misnomer) US insurance company that covers their G63 without issue?....

I've been using State Farm for 30 years. They've always come through for me. They quoted $143 per month for the 2020 G 63 that I ordered last month.

Wow, Progressive did not tell me that when I got a quote from them albeit I used a VIN# I found online since mine has not been built. Their rates are the best I could find on my Porsche, Harley and daily driver so I will have to get a new quote on a higher priced VIN#!

I just had the same problem, I traded a $165K AMG GTC for a $165K S63 and Progressive would not insure the new car. I ended up canceling all my cars and moving everything to Geico. Geico was also 30% cheeper for the same coverage.

well I wasn't planning on switching my insurance until this post prompted me to reconsider...had Geico, but was unhappy with the verbiage of my policy which allowed them to reimburse for non-OEM windshields and up to the price of the cheapest body shop in the case of collision damage. Decided to switch to State Farm. Unfortunately I drive the car too much to qualify for Hagerty etc
