Vessel -Germany to Mexico before US/CAD?

So after tracking the ship for over 6 weeks, determined my G was never on that ship. It left Boston headed to Africa. The reason I assumed that it was on that ship as it had the same build date as others that had theirs on that ship, including one person that lives 2 hours from me, just south of the US border. My sales guy has been no help to me in getting any information as to when to expect it, which is why I was doing my own investigation and assumptions. Does anyone else here have a G being shipped to Canada? Having completed production over 6 weeks ago and still nobody being able to tell me the status is extremely frustrating. Thanks.

My dealership has given me pretty much nothing to go on apart from the fact that my G is currently on water from Zeebrugge to the U.K. it had an original build date of 13th April which got pushed forward (the dealer never gave me the updated build date). I don’t know the name of the boat but it’s been in Zeebrugge port since last week waiting to leave due to loading. Maybe your G is on this shop too?
Did your dealership ever give an ETA?

It actually could be on that ship too now, no idea. My dealership hasn't given me anything other than their invoice date which was supposed to be yesterday, June 8th. From what I understand, invoice date should be the date the dealership takes delivery so it's all very confusing how the date of invoicing comes and goes and they still have no idea where my G is or when I should expect it.

Wow, this is turning out to be some story, and not a good one! I cannot understand why they cannot tell you what ship it is on!!!

Thanks guys, ya, but the dealership warned me of major backups at the Halifax port so he said not likely
to have at the dealership until July sometime. Oh well, at least I know for sure that's it's on its way!

My original build date 13 April, with a dealer ETA 28 May.
Post Virus:
No build date but my dealer eta was 10 June.... now it’s looking like I ‘maybe’ able to collect Saturday.
I wonder why your G was waiting such a long time?

Must just have been waiting for a ship. I know logistics around the world is really backed up
so maybe they had to wait quite some time to get a ship to go to Canada...likely had to wait until
they had a full ship too, so maybe waiting on alot of Canadian vehicles to be completed production.

Yeah, you’re probably right... they’ll be plenty of people running behind in production so it’s bound to have a knock on effect. The main thing is - it’s on it’s way now :-). So exciting :-)

My G is now at the dealership. It’s 4.5 hours away so I’ll be picking it up on Saturday. I’ve hired a car to get us there ... at last! This is a picture Lauren sent me from MB :-)
