Yes, I plan to do the same when mine arrives in a couple weeks. Here are a couple pics other members shared with me. There are 2 bolts on each side behind covers directly below where it attaches to the bumper:

Good question!: https://mbworld.org/forums/g-class-w...val-issue.html

If you know someone with a 3D printer maybe you can have them come up with something.

I thought this was the answer but now not so sure about what happens to the top of the bumper cover.

As far as I know there is no one that makes a cover for the US G550 bumper holes. If you read the thread I linked to you can get some ideas though of what we have thought about doing.

Did you read all of the threads? Someone left the rubber grommets on and made little covers for them, which is an easy option until there are some covers for the bumper holes.

There is not factory options nor will there be in the US. The G550 was certified in the US with the brush bar on so if one desires to take it off it is up to the owner to do something to cover the holes. After market companies have come up with covers for the G63 but nothing for the US G550 yet. You could buy a Canadian front bumper since they have an option of not having the brush car and if so they can get the front camera, but not in the US.
