Toddler spilled apple juice on front seat of G550 HELP

BTW warm apple juice smells like ****.
I have 4 of these in all my cars. Very overkill, but these can absorb the smell and moisture out of the air. Helps a ton when I take my great dane and old *** weimeraner to the park. After I take them out and the truck sits for a couple hours its neutral inside.
Not sure where you're at, but may be worth leaving the windows down and opening the sunroof for a few hours out of direct sunlight.
Also sounds weird as hell, but had a similar issue w one of my Supras way back in the day in Florida humidity.
Get a bag of rice and put it in a bowl and stick it in the car. It will also work like the above charcoal bags, but likely something you can get asap.
** Edit ** the more rice the better. Don't go grab a box of zattaran's buy some cheap bulk stuff and get a huge bowl
Don't think you'll want to run around w rice in the truck when you''re driving though.

Good luck

I couldn't find any documentation to support this but I could swear that using APC neutralized the odor.
I believe I used Optimum Power Clean diluted 1:3 in a panic. I would probably dilute it out 1 part OPC to 10 parts distilled water first just to be safe. I also spray onto a clean microfiber instead of directly on the seat for added caution. Thoroughly wipe down.
I think the next step is unnecessary but it makes me feel better to do so. I neutralize the basic APC by going over it with a rinseless wash. I used ONR at the time but like N914 better now. I have a bucket of rinseless wash in the standard 1:256 dilution. Dunk the microfiber in, heavily wring it out, and thoroughly wipe down the seat again.
I agree with using a leather protectant afterwards. I didn't have a dedicated one so I used Optimum Opti-Seal. That's a polymer based sealant meant for the outside of the vehicle but can be safely used on certain interior surfaces. I don't know if that's true with every polymer based sealant. You may want to use a dedicated leather protect instead. But for Opti-Seal, half spritz into the included foam applicator and gently rub down the leather seat.
The car is normally inside a garage anyway, opened the sun roof, opened the windows, turned on the AC and fans inside the garage, let it air out overnight, problem solved!
