For those who know their G’s shipped from the VPC... any from Brunswick ? If so, what date did your G arrive off the boat?
Mine arrived in Brunswick on 9/23. Just trying to get more of a idea when it will make it to Dallas.
BTW it was me that told my sales guy to check for the release after you all posted info on the forum (thanks again ).

I don't know if they are releasing them in order of when they arrived at VPC.

Mine arrived 10/19 in Brunswick. I'm in Dallas as well. As of today none of the Dallas G63s had been released to the carrier. They are all sitting at D1 status and would have to change to D5 first before they can be released to carrier.
I don't know if they are releasing them in order of when they arrived at VPC.

My guess from experience is early to mid January.
However, once the offical release is announced, you can be assured that they are experts in supply chain and logistics management and will have trucks running around the clock to clear the VPC’S as quickly as possible.
I am in Jax, FL close to the Brunswick VPC and you can be assured that the MB lot is full of “G” models and lots of other cars.
FWIW: My dealer has 5 G63’s and several 550’s (all sold) sitting up there with no official release date known.
The wait will definitely be worth it and in your rear view mirror once you take delivery.
However, once the offical release is announced, you can be assured that they are experts in supply chain and logistics management and will have trucks running around the clock to clear the VPC’S as quickly as possible.

My dealership is only 20 minutes from Port of Baltimore. My sales Person called on Saturday to confirm that all G63s have been released. However in terms of when I'll get mine, he had no idea. He didn't know what the order was, however his store is expecting three G63s. Given we are going into a holiday week and weekend (Thanksgiving Week), we should likely write off all 11-23/11-30 as most truck drivers are taking time off with Family. Lots of places are shutting down from Wednesday - Sunday next week. We expect 1st week of December and onward for the arrival and delivery. We started with the Loan Credit Application Process and Insurance quote to get the docs in the row so when it hits, it's all ready. It's like the wife giving a birth. You pack everything until the water breaks, then you rush to the hospital for the good news.

Oh nice! I didn't know our 2021s come with metal switches. I always wondered why they skimped on that when the S class and others had them.

And the steering wheel air bag cover - it should be leather wrapped for this price range especially with the upgraded interior.
