G550 at MSRP??

G550 at MSRP??
The dealer I have been working with called to let me know an allocation is available for a G550 build but at a $10k markup. I have read around the forums that dealers are varying in this markup with some dealers no longer having a markup. Looking to put a deposit and build ASAP but wanted to ask if anyone was familiar with any dealers that are not doing a markup. I'd be willing to wait a few more months if it means saving $10k. Located in NC, but open to any dealer in the country with shipping.

I would not pay a mark-up on a G550, especially for an allocation. I can understand ADM's when a car is sitting right in front of you but to pay an ADM and then still have to wait doesn't make sense.
A local dealer had a G550 on the lot this summer for a month before it sold and they were asking MSRP so it's not exactly a hot market here.
I'm in NC and only know of one dealer in the area who charges ADM's. Send me a PM and I can give you two contacts at dealers that charge only MSRP in the state.

Agree - there are several dealers here in FL that will order you a G550 at MSRP if you cannot find one closer - let me know if you need contact info.

Have you been checking G inventory on www.cargurus.com? When I was shopping last year, Mercedes dealerships were listing G inventory on their individual websites that they didn't actually have on their lot and probably couldn't get. Every dealer in the southwest region had the same G550 "in stock", but when contacted, they would try to sell me "a really nice GLS I was certain to like". In other words the G was being used as bait. Through cargurus I finally tracked down the location of the G at a Las Vegas dealership, but didn't buy it when they rescinded the offer they had accepted. There are only about 3 dozen G's currently listed on cargurus, but a couple are listed at MSRP (the listing includes dealer price and MSRP). Good luck!
