The roof rack was inspired by the Brabus Adventure package rack. Turns out, it’s made by LeTech. The source I purchased it from is no longer available, but here is a link to the same thing at Viking off-road. It’s important to note, however that my G is a 2018 model and there is an ever so slight difference in that vehicle than the 2017 and back. The rack was 4mm too narrow. I had it widened at no small expense so that it would not touch the roof. Otherwise, it will not clear. The recovery boards are easy to source and come and the manufacturer sells the brackets as a universal fit. The axe and shovel mount is a cheap Smittybuilt accessory as the nice ones are custom one offs and I am still in search of something close I can modify so I needn’t start from scratch. You may, depending on your color wish to wrap your roof black. After installing the rack initially, it looked amiss as you could see the color through the rack. Wrapping it matte black helped. I did purchase the front spoiler like the Brabus and spent $900 getting the matte paint finish correct and sourcing the black LED lights, but in the end, I like the look I have now, but it’s noisy due to no aero. If you want the spoiler, I have one cheap! Like really cheap. The lights were a challenge to wire without drilling a hole, but I was able to run them up the A pillars with no modification to the vehicle. Keep that in mind when you begin if you are going to do lights, as it is not super easy to do it without drilling and a 2018 model year uses the MB Bus technology, so splicing into things isn’t an option. The GoGo lights are remote control and turn 370 degrees around and 20 degrees up and down. Very fun actually. I will post photos of lights up close. The are cool. Oh, don’t forget the spare tire carrier, They are not cheap, but it really completes the look.
