Whats the plug above the rear license plate.
Just received our new 2021 G550 :-) and after reading the owners manual I can not determine the purpose of the 4" plug that is below the spare tire in the center of the door.
Does anyone have an idea what is the purpose of this plug?

I think its the door for the rear view camera

it is the rear view camera that pops out when in reverse.

Thank you, it is the backup camera. I could not find the button for the smoke screen deployment feature. A good thought though. :-)
