W463 on W460 chassis
Hi all,
Looking to get information on the following topic, I have a W463 2015 which was in an accident a year ago and was written off by insurance as damage beyond repair and cannot be put back on the road or insured, however the vehicle had only panel damage, drivers door, wing and front suspension, everything is fixed and vehicle is in perfect working order, but it cannot be used.
I'm considering to swap chassis to a W460 which would be over 30 years old, that way it doesn't have to be tested every year and will be classed classic vehicle.
Has anyone ever done that or has any information if it's possible to do, all comments are welcome.
