Hi all and Happy New Year! Looking for a couple of parts for my '18 G63.
1. Rear metal license plate holder (everywhere I have searched up brings up a plastic one). Not too sure if MB discontinued the metal holder? (attached photo below)
2. I have crazy wind noise coming only from my passenger door. Noticed the white plastic lining is completely gone, as I removed the door panel to check what was going on. (below attached is a picture I found online to show reference)
I'm very familiar with the OEM websites, (ie. mbparts, mboemparts, etc), but cannot seem to find what I am looking for.
1. Depending on your location, the metal one may rust. Best to use plastic one if one is available. I’ve personally never seen it, but if you link it, I might switch.
2. I’m assuming this was due to replacing a faulty window regulator or door actuator. I doubt it’s the source of your noise as it’s intended to seal out water, dust etc. With that in mind, it’s best to replace it. Should be able to order from dealer and make sure to get the adhesive while you’re at it. If you’ve torn down the door, I’m confident you can handle replacing the liner.
You may check your felt/rubber door seals to chase down the noise, I need to do that on my drivers side myself.

1. looks like I might switch to the plastic unless I can source one from a junk yard (ill be sure to snag you one as well lol)
2. I'm not sure - the wind noise is VERY hallow - I've tried pressing down on door panel, checked window alignment, door alignment - ill do some more recon
