Hi guys,
any of you guys experienced this…
For example at a gas pump…
I turn the car off and fill up at the pump.
Return to the car and try to start the car, there is a 2-3 seconds hesitation before turning over.
However, if I were to lock the the, forcing the car electrics to shutdown, pump the car, unlock the car, and restart the car leads to normal startup.
any of you guys experienced this…

Check your starter
I also have a 2013 G550- sounds like the starter is getting ready to fail- not fun if it fails in a full parking lot ( speaking from experience). This definitely one of those issues you want to have serviced - before it does fail
