Crazy Color edition production numbers?
#26
I don’t think they made each color the same amount though. Here’s what I found, if you do a simple search.”These cars, exclusive to Japan, will be sold in extremely limited numbers. Only 12 units of the Sunset Beam, 12 of the Tomato Red, 9 of Solar Beam, 11 of the Galactic Beam and 6 of the Alien Green will be sold in Japan.” If they are not the same for Japan markets, I highly doubt it is for the USA. There are 5 yellow ones in our DMV area, 2 orange, during our G wagon meets and I have yet to find another green one outside of my previous one which was the 3rd in the US, it was a 2015. Another is my friends in LA

2015 Purple G63 with7k milles
I sold mine and I am looking again for a super low mile one anything under 20k will be considered. Prefer purple or orange no yellow.
They are such unique trucks and to me the last of the real hand built G63'S. I had bought a 21 when they came out and sold it and bought another older one. To me if you have other luxury cars it makes no sense to have the newer as they look the same interior wise.
The leather is insanely nice especially for an SUV
Good luck!!!!

Yep, My understanding is that they were made only in 2016, 2017 and 2018
Brand new members and info that isn't correct, always leads me to question THOROUGHLY, my guess is he's gonna want a deposit.

Yeah, but no thanks as not sure what you have or what you are doing.
From talking to older sales reps the numbers had to be low as the bright colors did not sell well and sat on the floor for a long time. I might have said this already but mine still had a factory warranty as it wasnt sold going off memory for over a year. I also have learned people do not like yellow cars as it was impossible for me to sell as well. Think about it, you had to pay $20k more to get teh edition when a custom order color was under $10k. In 2015 I bought a Mauritius blue which I still think was beautiful and have seen less of them than the crazy color ones.
The Japanese market also had a Tiffany blue version.

I guess anything is possible but I custom ordered a 2015 g550 in Mauritius Blue over silver and do not remember those colors being avail otherwise I would have got one. I got the G550 as it was easier allocation at the time of order.
Thats an odd one as I have never seen any editions besides 16-18 and actually 18's are the most rare.
Still looking for Galactic Purple ultra low miles. Below 30k with 10-20 a plus.
Thanks

Actually I listed it on BAT before, you can see it there. 😊 but yeah, they started in 2015, ended with the rarest year, 2018. Most likely because they only made a few until they started to focus on the new bodies. Funny thing is, my production date is the same as some of the new bodies.

I love the solar beam W463. There is two local ones to me in that color (NYC suburbs/hudson valley) and also two alien greens I have seen. I remember years ago (2018-2019) when I was looking my W463 you would see a good amount of crazy color spec in the used marketplace. I love my matte black OEM color but do wish I had picked one of the crazy color ones...... solar beam followed by alien green.

According to previous owner, this is the absolutely last one they produced given the 02/18 production date, they stopped producing 2018s completely in Feb/March I believe since in Europe, they were already selling the new bodies at that same time. According to previous owner, when he bought it brand new, the emblem near lockers on dash was already installed, but I was surprised it had it as well. The wheels I swapped with my neighbors as I think these one really brings out the color, I don't like matte black rims.
