2014 G550
side trim
My G550 was previously wrapped and now the side trim pieces are curling up at the ends. Does anyone know how I can get them to lay flat again? I tried new double sided tape but that didnt work.

The side rubber trim has a metal insert inside, so you'l have to bend it back to be straight. If it's curling only on the ends, there's a good chance it's been damaged enough or the rubber has shrank, so the only option will be to buy new pieces to replace.
Most times when wrap shops remove these for wrap, they pull and pry and damage these pieces.

I think it was 3m and was told it was the strongest available. As it turns out the car was previosly wrapped and the trim pieces were removed improperly bending the metal in them. I recently had them removed again and bent back to lay flat After years of struggling with them they are finally all good!
