Oil Temp not Increasing
I am pretty OCD with my rides and make sure they are fully warmed up before going WOT.
However, my oil temp reading appears accurate some of the time but other times sits at 32 degrees.
It has been 70 here the past few days, as well I park it in a heated garage....The oil temp shows a temp of 32 and doesn’t increase even after 20-30 minutes of driving.
I called my dealer and they said the sensor is slow to update.
It doesn’t really bother me, but I am wondering if other vehicle systems are affected as the car thinks that it isn’t warmed up....?
Coolant temp reads fine.

I don't recall ever seeing the screen in your lower photo anywhere in my 2019 G550, but I'll check again. Do you have MercedesMe service? Maybe it's a temperature that gets calculated by MercedesMe and there's a 4 hour update delay (lol).

Access it by:
1). Pressing the vehicle button to the right of the analog clock.
2). Click on “Dynamic Select”
3). Click on “Engine Data”
(There is also a “vehicle data” which I have used, more for fun, to see the steepness of a hill).
I have these saved as favorites as it is sort of clunky to quickly pull up.

I would have thought that it would make the fan never run (because it thinks the car is cold) strange...
