Would be curious to know the parts #s for the matte carbon fiber pieces? Always liked the look of it in the GTR over gloss carbon and would consider changing my trim to one of the no extra cost options, then purchasing the matte pieces and installing myself.

Hasn't been announced yet.
Current MSRP is $156k, so a fair guess would be $160k. It didn't change one penny for 2021 after changing twice for 2020.

I’ve updated my order to mono blocks. Funny thing is I have to keep the RJ6 wheels selected to get the night package and then the mono blocks are selected under options. So currently I have two sets of wheels on the order.

Is there any practical difference with the top speed delimiter? I mean does it have an effect on performance at all other than allowing the car to go to speeds well beyond the legal limit in this country?
I mean this is not like buying a 911 Turbo S or a Lambo, so what is the point of having such a high top speed anyway?
Or are people actually taking these things to a race track?

Delimiter merely raises the electronically controlled top speed. Does nothing for performance at all. Basically for people who want every option box checked no matter what haha.
I agree once I hit 80-90 in this thing I'm good with not going any faster.
Decided on a tentative 2022 build - going to swap cardinal red for jupiter, keep the classic red interior now without black A band, and swap the black ash wood and standard steering wheel for piano black with wood/leather steering wheel. Toyed with trail package or monoblocks, but for now I'm going to stick with the black 21's.

It’s weird. The upgraded interior packages used to include PA9 comfort seat package that included all the options but now there is a separate PK2 option that has PA9 as part of that.
I wonder if this is because of chip shortages.

I agree it's confusing but my interpretation is that PK2 is the new PA9 except it adds the P72 ENERGIZING control thing which wasn't in the 2021, so they had to call it something else. So that DOG change is just saying if you want massaging seats with a standard interior (DB2) you select PK2.
I know the upgraded interiors still say PA9 only, but my guess is it's a typo and I bet there will be another updated DOG with the PA9 codes changed to PK2 for the upgraded interiors. I doubt they would de-content from the upgraded interiors and force somebody to pay for PA9 twice.

I just realized this:
"Exclusive Nappa Leather (8xx) will no longer feature center console and dash in seat color. Replaced by black center console and upper dashboard."
That's no good--classic red interiors will be all black other than the seats now. Bummer. Almost makes me want to get bengal red and go with the two-tone dash.

So what's really upsetting is that now the G550 Line Package requires the Exclusive Interior Package (or G Manufactur)
So if like me you start from a base G550 and just want the Night Package, it's adding $10k by forcing you to take Line Package AND Exclusive Interior Package...

so that means we are not going to see any new G-class fresh update with new MBUX till 2022 October.
Means all 2022 cars are going to be same old MBUX.

MBUX can't be that great can it? I've never used it but whether it's COMAND or MBUX I'll probably be running CarPlay most of the time.
I don't think there will be many changes for a few years other than colors and wheels. So much demand, no reason to upgrade anything anytime soon.

demand makes sense yes.
But running a decade old COMMAND system is a pain for customers who are spending such a huge amount of money.
At least they should have upgraded to the MBUX and brought wireless carplay.

BTW, G73e is coming in 2022 - its electric hybrid and 800bhp, so we can see the new MBUX in it.
G63 is EOL 2022, from what I have found out.
Its going to change to G73e, but exterior design is going to stay exactly same, what we care really

The majority of Gwagon buyers don't care about any of this. They just buy it for the look and feel.
Mercedes are selling so bloody many they can't keep up - even with several price hikes + dealer markups
Which is why they are simply not bothering to update MBUX until the next model
Even though they say g73e going to be announced in 2022, I'd say its not going to hit any dealers until late 2023/early 2024. So just enjoy the current one for now!

I would take the current Command anyday over MBUX. Would be great if the current command can adopt a touchscreen as an option for those who love to CarPlay but otherwise MBUX is a disaster. Very busy incoherent screens and no control knob which means you have to use the stupid quirky touchpad or reach out to the screen with your dirty fingerprints all over the place. Even if they adopt a cleaner and more practical version of MBUX in the future I certainly hope they bring the control knob back so the driver has the option to keep his/her screen fingerprint free.
