water pooling under driver floor mat

water pooling under driver floor mat
Every time it rains water pools in the little u shaped trough under the floor mat in my 2009 G550. My mechanic has checked the sunroof drains and they are clear. The windshield was replaced by MB when i purchased it. I've run water around the windshield and no water appears. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
