Similar to the one I have configured, except I have options like the VLI Full Leather Package and AMG Offroad package PRO, and with the 906 armrest heater and the 553 trailer maneuvering assist. I would suggest avoiding the VPC installed options such as the D57 projectors.

what is vpc?
also why do you discourage that? Id there any other option for door lights you would recommend?

VPC basically means installed at the port/dealer, and not by the factory.

As for door light projectors, I really love the feature when it’s done right (see BMW’s Light Carpet form the 7er or Audi’s own mirror-mounted projectors that are bright and crisp.

The D57 “projectors” are just a cutout mounted into one of the dimming light housings under the door, very cheap and uninteresting in my opinion.

i would recommend the mirror-mounted door projectors included in the GK0/GK2 MANUFAKTUR Logo package; they’re much more impressive, luxurious, and factory installed.

any recommendation on the interior color and other packages ?

In my build, I have the L6H AMG Performance Steering wheel in Carbon-fiber design/microfiber optioned to complement the trim. The only other I’ve selected aside from 906 is the VLI, which I understand is quite the package and definitely not everyone’s taste. I chose the 958 Titanium grey pearl/black, although I hear that when paired with red brakes, Classigrau/Arabian Gray is often optioned with red pepper/black (967 on VLI interior, 937 for the single tone interior you’ve specced). Platinum white is great though, and would be 953 with VLI if the two-tone is selected.

for interior, I am also debating between platinum white and red pepper.. I like white, wife wants red haha

I find the single-tone 937 Red Pepper to be a bit “loud” (although I’ve seen some comments deride it as saying the interior looks like a “clown house” or worse). However, in the two-tone 967 guise, I find it much more agreeable and actually pleasant/complementary. Again, this is purely my own taste at this point, so make of it what you will.
As for Platinum White, I would say that it might look slightly better in 923 single-tone guise? It’s close though, because it also looks great in 953 two-tone guise. If I personally had to choose between single-tone 923 Platinum White and 937 Pepper Red, I would go with 923.

If you wear jeans, the blue transfers to the white seats. I like white, but would never order it.

As someone who rarely wears any sort of indigo-dye denim trousers (and certainly not when driving the macchiato beige interior in the cabriolet), I had forgotten this issue, good to note.

I ordered the performance package, I didn’t order the rear entertainment system. I don’t think there’s enough room in the back seat and I don’t have kids, so I didn’t order it.

My thoughts exactly.. Rear Seat is already tight and everyone has iphones and ipads these days
Perf package is for the active suspension, as they don’t allow it as standalone option.

yeah, I think the performance package is a must have, I’m excited to see what the ride quality will be like.

I don’t see the need for an armrest heater, but that’s up to you. I ordered the heated steering wheel, but I think that’s standard for 25.

yeah, heated steering wheel is standard..
regarding arm rest, since everything in the car is heated, I added it as it isn’t an expensive option ($800 for US) and gives us an option incase we want to use it ..
