AMG suspension malfunction warning message

After the thermostat was replaced because it wasnt reading the coolant temp properly (see threadif interested) a new warning message appeared in the command center Friday (4 days after I picked it up from the shop). SUSPENSION MALFUNCTIONING (see pics below). I don't know if this is related to the work performed when they replaced the thermostat. Anything is possible. They had to remove one of the front wheels (I think driver side) to remove paneling along the tire and wheel and remove/install lower engine compartment. What's the lower engine compartment?
After replacing the thermostat the techs road tested the vehicle for a total of 44 miles. I didn't drive the truck for 3 days after picking it up. The message popped up almost immediately/before I put it in reverse or drive. The truck is back at the shop. The suspension is definitely NOT working properly. It's very stiff in Comfort mode and it doesn't adjust in Sport or Sport+ modes. Is anyone familiar with this? Thanks in advance!

A 44 mile "test drive" to verify a thermostat is functioning? I'd be rippin' the service manager a new one over that!

I agree it seems excessive but it was over 4 different road tests each between 6-13 miles.

After doing some research last night it seems this issue could be the result of any number of things ranging from incorrect position of the level sensor to loose/disconnected wires, bad ECU, faulty strut, or the engine mount for the engine suspension. I think the engine mount could be the issue considering they had to lower the engine compartment when replacing the thermostat.

Someone w/ a GT-R posted this in their forum.

Two visits to diagnose a bad thermostat and then they screw up the suspension. I'd be looking for a different dealer's service department.

What they did definitely is not nice, and they have to pay for it.
