Exhaust IPE / FI

Wondering if anyone can assist.

My understanding with IPE / FI exhausts they are now using the OEM button instead of their own button for the valve control. This means the valve will close while the car is stationary
at the lights as per German EU regulations and therefore your G63 will always be quiet while stationary. Unlike older model vehicles without this OEM button, FI or IPE would provide you with a button on your keyring and the bypass will only be active when you push the "off" button on your remote.

Does anyone know a way around this problem ? I don't think FI or IPE recognise this mistake and support is very limited with this question.

Hadn't heard this, but I'll email my FI rep to see if the remote is still available. In US, the valves don't close at the stop light. Must be a new EU regulation?

I spoke to both FI and IPE via Whatsapp. They don't use their button anymore its controlled via the OEM button in the console which complies with EU regulations.

standstill = closed and quiet

No, its an old one. I used to have this problem with Aftermarket EU exhausts before i discovered IPE / FI, they would automatically close even if you had the exhaust open with their button. Hence why I changed to Taiwan away from Europe. Now it appears Taiwan are joining Europe with emissions regulations.

Its all part of the global Agenda to ban petrol cars, eliminate idling, reduce loud cold starts, auto stop start ignitions.

Stepping stones to battery cars.
