2025 G63 Markups?

The demand for G550s have fallen off a cliff. I've seen ones with delivery mileage wholesale below MSRP.
I don't know if this is a function of the V6 or the fact that Mercedes sent a bunch of market introduction G550s that weren't spec'd by customers and thus are a harder sale.
My dealer has said their demand for 2025 G63's is the highest it's ever been.

Even if the straight-six engines are much better than their V6 predecessors, the lack of V8 was going to hurt non-AMG G-Klasse sales in the US anyways.
I knew it would be drastic, but wow, even my more progressive expectations have been exceeded.

Does anyone know if MB has barred dealers selling G wagons to an out of state buyer? My order has come in to a dealer that I purchased through before w/o issue and they're now telling me that I cannot purchase the new one but not sure if they're attempting to get out of the deal to resell for higher than I've negotiated.

I now regret not having walked straight out of the dealership after replacing a key fob battery.
Noticed there were quite a few G Wagons on the show room floor and briefly stopped to look at this one in a striking South Sea Blue.

One problem with this dealer is that they add on approximately $5K of useless dealer add ons. So kind of a hidden ADM.

Agreed on a price in writing with the sales person and when we were in the F&I office to sign the paperwork they added some fee.
I lowered our offer by the same amount. The F&I person said no so I told my mother we were leaving.
They waived the fee when my mother stood up to leave.
These kinds of games make me want to use a car buy service like Costco, or even worse, lease a Tesla just to avoid the dealership car buying experience.

Now that folks are taking delivery of their G63s what ADMs/Markups are you paying? My g63 just arrived and since these G63s are sitting around at dealers not selling as anticipated I do not want to pay a 20k ADM.....

How do you know G63’s are sitting around at dealerships? Do you have more specifics? I can’t get a build date for another 4-months.
