New Addition to the Garage
Hi guys, just picked up my 2011 G55... this thing is serious! Makes me feel like a G lol.
Just had one question and would be glad if someone could help me out.
On the dashboard at the bottom where it says what gear you are in etc- when you are driving it says "D" but next to that it says "H". Is that normal? Im just worried as the salesman had told me don't mess about with the suspension settings and I am worried that I am in the wrong suspension setting?

H is for High Range which is the normal setting. L is for Low range, which is for extreme off-roading!
Enjoy!
You can only change from H to L when at a standstill and in Neutral. Once you do the transfer case makes the gearing much shorter and more powerful which is basically good for serious off-roading!

Ah ok I see how it works now.... thanks very much for the replies! I tried to look in the car Manual but it is all in Arabic unfortunately, have requested the dealership to provide me with English Manuals.

Mabrook, its supposed to be in H all the time. If you happen to get a blank box with no H or Low you can refresh that by SDS or replace the TC unit which I did on mine, they pressed the button (dealer) by mistake and engaged low on D instead of Neutral.

Thanks! The G is for the house in Dubai.... Mashallah it is a great car with lots of presence on the road. I feel like I am going to War every morning when I drive it to the office lol
