I've ordered a 2013 G550 with a 10K deposit, my dealer says he has me on for one of his three allocations BUT Netstar doesn't yet give any code options for paint or leather choices. Sales manager says not to worry because paint code can be entered late in the build process. He's projecting a mid October delivery. Comments?
What was the price of the G550 and why not get a G63?

Nope, I just got the normal 20" rims that came with the truck. Will see how it looks when it arrives then decided how to mod it out.

I have an allocation for a G63 in September, gathering details now and building tomorrow.
A couple of questions regarding the PA6 designo exclusive package:
1. I see the embossed headrest for the G65, I just want to confirm that the G63 headrest with this option will be plain (I'd rather not have the extra flair). EDIT: confirmed from selection sheet that this is the v12 only.
2. Are the "AMG Sport Seats" fundamentally different than the standard G63 seats? i.e. are the "AMG Sport Seats" more like what I have in my 2011 S63?
I love my S63 seats, but the G seats seem a bit leaner, so I was hoping for something similar to my S63 in this new revision of the G.

Some updates from our build today:
1. Almost all options in the US are standard, unlike the European options sheet that has floated around. Very few options were optional, if that makes sense.
2. Build date is October, 3rd decade (roughly third week). Delivery perhaps in December.
We chose:
- 041 designo graphite metallic
- PA6 designo exclusive package
- zf3 porcelain (two tone color)
- v56 High gloss brown burr walnut trim
- wood/leather wheel
"Options" that I recall were "Standard" in the U.S.:
- Distronic
- Parktronic
- Sunroof
- Privacy glass
- Bluetooth/Media interface
- Reverse camera
- Rear bottle holder

All AMG models get the chrome grill...if specified. Non AMG versions have something similar to what's historically been used.

What bar are you referring to? The chrome brush guard is standard in some markets and optional (or not available) in others.
The logos and embroidery in the picture were done custom and are not from the factory.
