09' G55 Audio Input, HELP!
Hey,
Just recently purchased a 09 G55, and since i am not aware of how the audio input works how do i connect an audio device, an iPod or access the inbuilt hard drive. Would really appreciate a reply want to experience my dream car with some good tunes.

There is an SD slot on the headunit that reads MP3 tunes. And there should be an iPod / Aux cable in the glovebox. It's possible the previous owner detached or hid those so poke around in there. All the non-radio functions are selected via cycle by pressing the "disc" button if I'm not mistaken.

Your car may have a Media Interface which allows iPod/iPhone/etc to be plugged into the COMAND system and give you access to track/artist info, playlists, etc. There's a description here:

It's a squarish connector in the glovebox that is supposed to come with various cables to connect that to your media device. If the cables are missing you can get them from your dealer.

Fellas I just picked up an 08 =) excited but it doesn't have SD or AUX INPUT in glove box but it has the newer bigger screen than the previous years., so how can i connect this to have an AUX? I heard there is a 4 pin or 12 adapter from MB? Anyone know about it or a part # ...please ... pretty please and also where does it go =) I would greatly prefer not to use an FM modulator -
Also which Comand is this?
It appears to look identical to the Comand unit in the W203 C Class but I can not find more info and oh boy

It's been a while since I've had that command, but I think if you hit eject the screen drops down and the CD player is behind the screen.
