Rear Jump Seat Installation
 

Does anyone who installed rear longitudinal jump seats in their W463 know if you need to drill holes into the rear side panels of the body of the car? Or are there provisions for the screws behind the interior paneling? I know we need to drill holes into the interior paneling, just not sure if there are existing threads for the screws behind the interior panels.

I have the manual that Vlad uploaded to his website but I can't make out the exact measurements in the manual.

Please see a snapshot of what is in the manual. The only measurement I know is the diameter of each of the 8 holes; 16mm. I'm guessing between each pair of hole is 64mm? I'm having a really difficult time making out the figures in the pic.


I just need some measurements for the locations of the screws in the side panels, PLEEEEEEASE.


Could I please ask anyone with the jumpseats installed to measure the distances as shown in the diagram below.

I made my own jump seat instead of paying the Stealer price of the other seats available . Turned out good a functional. :y

looks great. What year is your G63? And did you buy a kit for the jump seats and install? Or was it a complete fabrication? Thx. Thinking of doing same for my ‘15 G63
